Dear Class of ’62 Classmates, In June of 1962, 106 students became the 83rd graduating class of St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Vallejo, California. The intervening years have seen our lives take many directions, as careers, interests, families and pursuits took us to diverse world-wide locations. Fifty years later we have the opportunity to gather again to celebrate our shared past and to enjoy memories and friendships.
Our school is no longer at the same location of 400 Florida Street. The school is now known as St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School, is located on Benicia Road, and the mascot is the “Bruin”. But to us, the Class of ’62, the school really is St. Vincent-St. Patrick High School and will always be the “Saints” and the “Hilltoppers”!
The Class of ’62 50th Reunion
Committee has convened several times since August and is planning a gala
event at a Napa Valley Winery on Saturday, September 8, 2012. Our new
website will include details of the reunion events, and will be
constantly updated with your photos, videos, stories, recollections, and
other contributions that will bring smiles and memories to our
classmates. Here is what we need you to do: · Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 8, 2012, and plan to attend the 50th reunion · Respond to Annette La Rosa Gaul via email at SV_Class_1962@yahoo.com to let her know your preferred email address · Check your email regularly and visit www.saints62.com often for updates · Submit photos, stories, etc. to webmaster@saints62.com for our new website · Contact classmates with whom you communicate regularly and encourage their attendance at the 50th reunion. We are looking forward to a grand time on September 8, 2012, as we celebrate our 50th Class Reunion. Your presence will make it even better!
